Hey there! First of all, thanks so much for visiting my blog! My name is Alicia, and I'm a happily married mother to two beautiful little girls. I am a work-at-home mom running my direct sales business while managing my home and family.
I've been an Avon Independent Sales Representative since March of 2012. The idea to start my own Avon business had passed through my mind a few times when I would think about ways to earn extra money. It didn't become anything more than an idea until after I had my first daughter and began thinking more seriously about ways to earn extra money while working around my full-time job and my husband's crazy work schedule. Avon seemed to be the right fit.
After submitting some information through the Avon website, another rep came to my house to get me started. She became my upline and has been a fantastic support and friend over the last few years. Starting my own business was one of the most exciting things I have ever done. After working at a grocery store and then working as a counselor, it was nice to be in charge of something and be my own boss.
Having your own Avon business can be one of the best opportunities out there, but only if you put the work into it. In my two years as an Avon rep, I've worked it around a full-time job and actually let it fall to the wayside a few times. It was what I intended it to be; a way to make extra money.
But now, things are different. I left my full-time job as a therapist for a foster care program to be home with my two little girls. My wonderful, supportive husband works hard to provide for our family, but it's time to make my Avon business into something more. It's time to use this Avon opportunity to meet my goals. I'm going to make it happen with makeup and more.
